Toyota 860 Special Edition Pleases Car Enthusiasts

The Toyota 86 boasts speed, driving performance, a value-oriented price tag, and now, style.

“The 860 Special Edition will amplify these core elements with an added dose of premium styling mixed with performance technology,” said John Myers, Toyota national manager vehicle marketing and communications.

Turn heads with the 2017 Toyota 860 Special edition in Supernova Orange with black body stripes, rear spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an aerodynamic underbody panel for added style and function. The model will also come in Halo White.

The luxury carries into the interior with heated front seats in black leather with orange stitching. The theme continues on the steering wheel, shift boot and parking bark level. Each car will come with a 4.2-inch multi-information display that features a G-force meter and stop watch to display horsepower, torque curves, engine coolant and oil temperatures.

It will be available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management® technology. The expected cost will be just under $30,000.

New premium features include Smart key with push-button start, heated outside mirrors, LED fog lights, touch-activated door unlock and dual-zone climate control.

The new 2017 Toyota 860 Special Edition will be available later this month. To get it in your color of choice, don’t wait. Only 860 units of each color will be crafted. Shop our stock of Toyota 86.

Toyota Changes the Crossover Game

We are starting to get giddy here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs. The all-new 2018 Toyota Coupe High-Rider (C-HR) will be here soon and we can’t wait for you to drive it. The C-HR moves Toyota forward in design, manufacturing, and engineering.

First, you’ll be attracted to the car’s edgy, sophisticated exterior. Deep, curvy character lines convey luxury with two slim projector-beam halogen headlights. The C-HR is available in many colors, including Ruby Flare Pearl, Blizzard Pear, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Black Sand Pearl.

Then, the interior will really draw you in. It has a modern look because it’s spacious and uncluttered. A soft diamond pattern fills the “MeZONE.” The dashboard is slightly angled to help you have a clear view of the road ahead, along with a 7-inch audio display positioned in the center of the dash to reduce eye movements.

You and your passengers will love the bucket seats that add extra comfort, added foot space under the front seats, small item in-door storage, and ample cup holders. Cargo space includes 60/40 seats that can fold flat, in addition to a secret department in the sidewall for smaller items and compartments below the deck board.

Once you drive, you’ll be in love. The engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder dual cam that produces 144 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 139 lb-feet of torque at 3,900 rpm. It also has Toyota’s Variable Valve Timing and Valvematic which helps increase fuel economy and smooth operation — both models are expected to have an MPG rating of 27 in the city and 31 on the highway.

State-of-the-art safety features include Toyota Safety Sense P™, which includes three active safety technologies — Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beams. There is also Steering Assist that’ll act similar to traditional cruise control with an added vehicle-to-vehicle control mode.

The 2018 Toyota Coupe High-Rider is expected to be in the range of $22,500 to $25,000.
